What did you do right after we graduated?

Partied like there was no tomorrow! Does anyone remember the

"Dexter party house" we had off of Dexter/Ann Arbor road? It was a

short term lease ended by the first police raid.

What has been your occupation(s) over the past 50 years? Tell us

about any highlights or cool things that you’ve been a part of.

Cleaned tables at Arlans snack bar, worked with Jim Cobb at Holsum

Bakery, installed car washes on the east coast with Richie Basil and

Richie Gregory, worked for Nicholson's on First Ave, and finished my

last 10 Ann Arbor years at Henderson Ford Sales. Owned and

operated motorcycle dealerships in San Diego, CA for the next 34

years.

Where have you lived, and where do you live now?

Ann Arbor until 1975, then moved to San Diego, CA where we've been

ever since. We loved Ann Arbor and the people, but oh, those winters!

Are you retired? If so, what are you doing in retirement?

Semi so. Sold the powersports dealerships in 2009, but still own a used

car dealership.

Please tell us about your family, spouse/s, children,

grandchildren, etc.

Here's where I hit the lottery of love. In 1967 I met the perfect mate,

and next year married Julie O'Connor (St Thomas class of "66) We

have 4 great children ages: 47, 40, 39, and 28. We also have 6

grandchildren aged 20 to 6. Julie says they're the only good part of

getting old!

What interests/activities do you find most satisfying?

Having all of our kids and grandkids together for family events. Also,

hangin' with our 3 loving Yorkies

Did you have experiences in High School that influenced later

choices in your life?

Fortunately no! Mostly, my high school days would have prepared me

for homelessness and or incarceration. Fortunately, I woke up

somewhere along the way.

Do you have any memories from High School that you would like

to share?

Yes. I have fond memories of getting to know vice principal Paul

Meyers through my semi-regular office meetings with him. He gave me

many motivational speeches, something about my continuing failure to

fulfill my promising potential.

What else would you like us to know about?

Life is GRAND! I have received so much more pleasure and

accomplished much more in life than I deserve.
