I attended EMU and graduated in 1968 at which point Uncle Sam gave
me a call. I spend most of my time in Baltimore.
What has been your occupation(s) over the past 50 years? Tell us
about any highlights or cool things that you’ve been a part of.
Through college and for a few years after the army I worked at
Weber's in the restaurant and motel office with a goal of becoming a
manager. I pursued a different line of work after going back to school
at CDI. I worked as a computer programmer at the UM for 22 years,
until they kicked my out.
Where are you living?
I am still living in Ann Arbor in the home I helped build with my father-
in-law. We have been in it since 1976.
Are you retired? If so, what are you doing in retirement?
I am now semi retired, only working 25-40 hours a week, and working
as a parts driver for NAPA.
Are you married? What’s your spouse’s name?
Married to a 'girl' I met at Weber's, Carol, in 1975. Still going strong.

Do you have kids? Where are they & what are they up to?
We have 5 kids, she's Catholic you know. Number 1 is Cheryl and she
is a Senior Associate Researcher at George Washington University in
DC. She studies monkey brains (deceased).
Number 2 is Andy who lives in Chicago and works for Harpo
Productions (that's Oprah) as an audience coordinator.
Tommy is the middle kid and works at Norton's in Ypsi as a buyer.
Catherine, #5, is attending UM Dearborn and studying business.
Last, but not least, is Lisa a Junior at Huron High.
How about grandchildren? How many? How old? Where are they?
But wait! What about great grand-kids?!!?
None and probably wont.
Have you had any adventures you’d care to tell us about?
No great adventures yet but when I win the $1,000,000/yr PCH lottery
I'm off to Hawaii and Australia.
